Spirit Environmental has successfully prepared and negotiated
include:

AIR PERMIT STRATEGY
Because our staff has prepared hundreds of air permit and
permit modification applications over
four decades, we are uniquely qualified to understand the
regulations, permit process, and permit strategy that will
expedite our clients’ permits while minimizing delays.
Spirit Environmental pursues a different strategy
in preparing air permit applications from most consulting
firms. Each of our staff is a “project manager level”
professional, allowing one staffer to be assigned to you and to be completely dedicated to the preparation
of the entire permit application. This means your project
manager will know all the details of your permit application
and will be the sole agency contact. This approach dramatically
improves relations with the reviewing agency
and saves you valuable time.
The Spirit Environmental staff’s knowledge
of the reviewing agencies and our continuing relationships with
its personnel are key assets to our clients.
We identify the appropriate solutions for our clients’
issues quickly because of these key contacts and our reputation
for integrity and professionalism with the reviewing agencies.
CONTROL TECHNOLOGY REVIEW & NEGOTIATION
Spirit Environmental’s staff has performed hundreds
of air pollution control technology reviews, or Best Available
Control Technology (BACT) reviews. Our contacts
with technology leaders ensure that we can quickly obtain
current, accurate data from reliable engineering firms and
pollution control suppliers. We keep up-to-date on the methods
preferred by the reviewing agencies to minimize questions
and review times.
Spirit Environmental has developed proven methods
to minimize public concern with our clients’ projects.
For those rare situations where the public has demanded a
hearing in regard to an air permit application, we have successfully
presented data and opinions resulting in permit approval.
Spirit Environmental has never had an air permit application
turned down or denied after assuring a client that a permit
could be obtained.
AIR DISPERSION MODELING
Success in air permitting requires the ability to perform
air dispersion modeling. Spirit Environmental’s staff
is extremely familiar with the mechanisms of air dispersion models,
and how changes in stack and modeling parameters affect
off-site concentrations. We are up-to-date with the latest
models, including CALPUFF, AERMOD, and ISC. Spirit Environmental’s
staff can work with your staff to make cost-effective emission
reductions that minimize off-site concentrations.
WASTE, WATER, AND LAND USE PERMITTING
Spirit Environmental’s goal is to provide comprehensive
environmental services to our clients. So, in addition to
air permitting, Spirit Environmental’s staff offers
waste, water, and land use permitting services.
Spirit Environmental’s staff has experience
in wastewater and storm water permitting in multiple applications
for multiple industries. Also, Spirit Environmental’s
staff has prepared applications for RCRA hazardous waste permits
for transportation, storage, and disposal facilities.
In a project development assistance role, Spirit
Environmental staff has experience in identifying, applying
for, and negotiating local land use and zoning permits to allow
for new industrial development. |
