Governor's Economic Development Group Presentation

Through the support of CenterPoint Energy, Spirit Environmental provided a presentation for members of Governor Rick Perry’s Economic Development Office as well as economic development professionals representing several key Texas communities at the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas, on 30 October 2007.  This presentation was designed to provide basic tools needed to identify potential air permitting and compliance issues and to provide sufficient background in air emissions management. The ultimate goal of the presentation was to dispel the opinion that “nothing new can be built” in areas of Texas with air pollution problems and replace it with the opinion that growth is achievable in these areas with the application of creativity and cooperation.
